Psalm 121:8

Don’t worry about these things, saying, “What will we eat? What will we drink? Matthew 6:31-33

He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.

Isaiah 40:11

WORRYING DOESN’T make a problem go away, nor does it prepare us to deal with it. The only thing worry does is consume us—our time, energy, faith, and trust in God. What worries weigh on your heart today? If Jesus were right beside you, what do you think he would say about your worries? When we feel consumed by worry, we can make a conscious effort to turn those thoughts into prayer. God assures us in his Word that he will care for us, lead us, and give us everything we need. Tell him what burdens you today and then release it into his control.
