SOMETHING inside of us longs for fairness. However, the fact is that life really isn’t fair. Life seems relatively easy for some, while others have years full of struggle. God doesn’t give us all the same circumstances, jobs, families, or environment in which to live. Whether we find ourselves feeling resentful when life feels unfair or sad for those who are less fortunate, we can look to God’s Word to gain perspective on how he interacts with his creation. We can trust that God is sovereign over all the world, that he loves each of us the same, and that he desires the same salvation for us all.
