How does God show his love for me?

God’s Response

God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! 1 John 3:1

Love is usually revealed by a person’s actions. If someone saved your life, wouldn’t you want to know more about that person? You can know that God really loves you by learning from God’s Word what he has done for you. Jesus died for you so that you can be saved from eternal death and live forever with him. Whether or not you have accepted him as your Lord and Savior yet, won’t you get to know more about the One who gave up so much so that you could benefit?

This Is Promising

God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 1 John 4:9
