1 John 4:18

WHEN WE LOVE PEOPLE deeply, our fears for them can run just as deep. But fear is never from God; it is a tactic Satan uses to hurt us. Fear tries to break our relationships, our hearts, our hope, and our connection to God. But the only thing greater than the power of fear is the power of love. And the Bible describes God’s love for his people as perfect and able to expel all fear. So when fear for another’s safety grips your heart, use it as a reminder to pray. The power of prayer leads us to experience the power of God’s love. When we meditate on how much God loves us and our loved ones, our worries over their safety lose their power.
