experiencing God - I haven’t experienced God in a long time. How can I feel his presence more?

God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.

1 John 2:3

Acts 17:27

GOD ISN’T elusive or passive; he is personal and relational. He wants us to search for him and experience him. At times, God may feel far away, maybe even nonexistent. In those times, we must rely on the truth of God’s promises rather than on the strength of our feelings. He doesn’t hide or avoid us. He will never abandon us. Do you strive to have a pure heart? Do you obey his commandments? Do you depend on him and search for his presence throughout your day? If you can answer yes to these questions, then God promises you will experience more of him. Trust that he is working in your life as you wait, and remember that if you search for him wholeheartedly, you will find him.
