A prayer about Demands

When life’s demands seem impossible

Almighty God,

I am going through a time in my life when the demands on me seem impossible. The task is too hard, the burden too much to bear, and my schedule too full to keep up with. Sometimes only my faith keeps me going because I know my greatest source of help is you, almighty God. You are God of the impossible. When life’s demands pile up, my only option is to turn to you. I acknowledge my need for help beyond what human hands can supply. I give control of my life to you and ask you to carry the burden for me. I need you to give me the strength to continue.

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31
